mbi: Access to Capital - Page

“The availability of capital is crucial for small business startup, survival, and growth.” Alicia Robb/SBA

Minority Owned Businesses often lack sufficient avenues in which to access capital, seriously derailing their vision for growth and impeding their opportunity to succeed.  Fortunately, DECD understands that the financial resources available to you are critical to the viability of your business.

Building sustainable businesses within our communities is one of DECD top priorities. That’s why we offer two loan and grant programs plus strategic relationships with many local and regional Lending Partners.  DECD also has a bilingual 800 number with people standing by ready to help.  Or connect with a Minority Business Champion and talk about the best ways of growing your business in Connecticut today!
