E-Alerts are notices of events or news items that are sent to registered users when the event or news item is posted to the site. Notification is to the user's registered email address.
 
 
Most E-Alerts will be random, and will not be sent on a regular schedule. Whenever new events are given to ConneCT Kids they will be posted as soon as possible.
 
 
ConneCT Kids will accept notices of events or special news items of interest to children, parents and educators ONLY from schools, libraries, museums, non-profit groups, municipal governments and State of Connecticut Agencies.
 
 
On our Home Page, there is an E-Alerts Registration link on the LOWER LEFT navigation bar. You may use this link to register.

Make certain that your email account is not restricted, and that you can receive our emails.
 
 
 
If you have signed up for E-Alerts but are not receiving them, the problem is most likely that either you or your employer have placed restrictions on the inbox or that the inbox is full. Other problems include errors in the address or recent changes in your email address. If you would like to test your inbox or email address, just send a test message to connect.kids@ct.gov and ask for a reply. If you do not receive a reply in a reasonable time period, then there is a problem with either the address or your inbox. While our email system does alert us to undeliverable emails, we do not have the staff to contact every person by mail. After five unsuccessful attempts, the subscription will be deleted.
