Judicial Review Council

{Welcome to the Judicial Review Council}

As of July 1, 2011, the Judicial Review Council is involved in an agency consolidation with the newly-created Office of Governmental Accountability. While the transition is taking place, please continue to check back here for up-to-date information before a new, consolidated website is launched in the near future.

Mission: To investigate and resolve complaints alleging misconduct, disability, or substance abuse of state judges, family support magistrates, and workers' compensation commissioners in order to promote public confidence in the courts and the integrity and independence of the judiciary by ensuring high standards of judicial conduct on and off the bench.

All procedures concerning the filing of a complaint, its investigation and resolution can be found in the Annual Report, and Information Handbook, or by clicking Complaint Process. Guidelines For Completing This Form found in the FAQ's brochure will assist you in filing your complaint. The creation, history, and purpose of the Council, its jurisdiction, non jurisdiction, confidentiality, statistical report of activities, conflicts of interest, and rules are also found in these publications.
