Hartford to Host 2006 Skate America Championship

At a ceremony in her office, Governor Rell announced that the United States Figure Skating Association has selected Hartford to host the 2006 Skate America Championship. The event will take place at the Hartford Civic Center in October of that year. The Governor and Speaker of the House Jim Amann, left, unveil a poster promoting the Skate America event.
