State Agency Appropriations

This section of Connecticut’s 2007-2009 lists General Fund appropriations for all state agencies and offices in the three branches of government.

In reviewing the document you will find two columns:

1st Column – 2007-2008 Fiscal Year (Ran from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008)

2nd Column – 2008-2009 Fiscal Year (Started July 1, 2008 and runs to June 30, 2009)

The dollar figures represent the actual amount of money appropriated by the Connecticut General Assembly for the last Fiscal Year and the current Fiscal Year.  By displaying both columns we are able to show you the growth in expenses from the last Fiscal Year to the current Fiscal Year.

Note:

Personal Services is a state budgeting term for wages and salaries.

Other Expenses is a state budgeting term for other, non-wage-related expenditures, such as postage, printing, vehicle rental, computer charges and office supplies, among others.
