GIS and Managing Invasive Aquatic Plants: Presentor: Gregory Bugbee
Greg Bugbee is a Scientist in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the Connecticut Agricultural Experimental Station located in New Haven, CT. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Principal Investigator in the Invasive Aquatic Plant Program. He has led aquatic plant surveys in over 175 bodies of water in Connecticut. GIS and GPS technologies play a crucial role in the surveys and Greg has overseen the adaptation of these technologies in aquatic environments.
