{More Information on Connecticut Day}
 
The Connecticut Building on the Avenue of States at the Eastern States Exposition, the Big E, in West Springfield, Massachusetts opens in its 71st year on September 17, 2009.  The Big E will run from September 17th through October 3rd.  Connecticut Day, the single most popular weekday of the expo, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22rd.

Military/Veterans' Appreciation Day

Free Admission for active duty military, Coast Guard and Reserve personnel and dependents, with Military ID.  Free for veterans with ID (copy of DD214 or proof of membership to any veterans' organization).  There is a charge of $10 for Big E parking.

Connecticut Day
A celebration of Connecticut that features entertainment, activities and special exhibits throughout the day. The Connecticut Day Parade will be held at 5:00 P.M. on the Avenue of States.

New England Specialty Food Day
The Connecticut Building will be hosting a Connecticut Farmers Market throughout the day on the front lawn. The Farmers Market will feature CT Grown fruit and produce.
