DECD/CHFA Announces Consolidated Application
  The DECD/CHFA Consolidated Application has been designed to provide housing developers with a convenient way to apply for financing provided by the two state agencies. Previously housing developers were required to complete separate and different applications to each of the two agencies. The Consolidated Application is made up of two different workbooks, both of which are in Excel format.

  Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that the state will assist Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics expand its Brookfield manufacturing facility, retaining 350 jobs and adding more than 70 new positions over the next two years.

Governor Rell Announces Funding for Senior Housing in South Windsor
  Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that the state is giving a $1.735 million loan to help build an elderly rental housing complex in South Windsor. The funding comes from the HOME Investment Partnership Program, a federally funded effort to create affordable housing for low and moderate-income households.
