Welcome to the Northern Region

The Northern Region encompasses 59 cities and towns which receive service delivery through one regional and three sub-offices.  These offices are located in Hartford, New Britain, Manchester and Willimantic.  Through the various links located below on this page, you can navigate to the office closest to you and read about the programs offered, hours of operation, as well as directions to each office.

Delivered through these regional offices are social service benefits including SNAP (Food Stamps), Cash Assistance, and Medical Assistance.  Many additional services for children and families, adults, and the elderly, can be accessed or applied for by using the links above.

We are pleased to work with many community service organizations, such as 211/Infoline, Community Renewal Team Inc., The Access Community Action Agency, Human Resource Agency of New Britain and the Bristol Community Organization. These agencies provide many other social service benefits, and can be accessed through the links provided here.
