Connect-Ability

DSS Announces New Initiative to Bring Together Connecticut Employers and Able Job-Seekers with Disabilities

See more on the website: Connect-Ability

See the Ability.  See How We Can Work Together.  We welcome individuals, employers, family, youth, friends and colleagues to Connect-Ability—a special initiative for people with disabilities of all ages who are seeking employment for the first time or who want a new challenge, and employers of all sizes and in all industries who are seeking valuable, qualified workers.

Governor M. Jodi Rell announced that through its Connect-Ability initiative, Connecticut is offering up to $2 million in funding to non-profit agencies, employers, schools and other organizations to plan and implement creative ways to help people with disabilities join the workforce.  Please see November 2 news release for more information on this funding.
