Conn. Agencies Regs. Sec. 12-313-10a.  Purchase of stamps.

(a) Stamps may be purchased if and only if a distributor or dealer files an order form prescribed by the commissioner. The order form shall be furnished by the Department of Revenue Services, Operations Division, Registration Section. Purchases may be made by mail or in person.

(b) If purchases are made by mail, the cost of mailing and insuring ordered stamps shall be borne and prepaid by the distributor or dealer. The commissioner shall insure each shipment. The Department of Revenue Services shall be the insured under the insurance policy.

(c) This section is prescribed pursuant to section 12-313 of the general statutes.
