Credit Card Payments for Business Taxes

Taxpayers who are registered for the following tax types can now make tax payments using their credit card:

Admissions & Dues Tax Form O-372 
Attorney Occupational Tax Form 472
Business Entity Tax  Form OP-424
Business Use Tax Form OS-114
Composite Income Tax Form CT-1065/CT-1120SI and extension payments*
Corporation Business Tax Form CT-1120, estimates, and extension payments*
Room Occupancy Tax Form OP-210
Sales and Use Taxes Form OS-114
 
NOTE: Not all tax types can be paid by credit card.  If the tax you want to pay is not listed above, you cannot use the credit card payment option. 
 
A convenience fee of the total tax payment will be charged to your account by the credit card service provider. You will be informed of the amount of the fee and you may elect to cancel the transaction.
 
*When making an estimated income tax payment or an extension payment, you are not required to send in a paper coupon or extension form.

To charge your Connecticut tax payment to your credit card:

  • Log into your account on the TSC-BUS.
     
    • To file a return and pay the tax due by credit card, complete the return in the TSC as usual. When you are on the Payment Options page, choose "I will make payment using a Credit Card."  Follow the prompts and then click the link to go directly to the Official Payments website. 
    • To pay an existing bill, choose the Make Payment by Credit Card link under "Select a Payment Option" on the Main Menu.  Follow the prompts and then click the link to go directly to the Official Payments website.
    • A convenience fee of the total tax payment will be charged to your account by the credit card service provider. You will be informed of the amount of the fee and you may elect to cancel the transaction.  The exact dollar amount of the convenience fee will be calculated on the payment website.  You may elect to cancel your transaction. At the completion of the transaction you will be given a confirmation number for your records.
or
  • Visit Official Payments Corporation Website and make your payment. A convenience fee of the total tax payment will be charged to your account by the credit card service provider. You will be informed of the amount of the fee and you may elect to cancel the transaction. At the completion of the transaction you will be given a confirmation number for your records.
Your payment will be effective on the date you initiate the charge.
