STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY AT ATM

 

DATE:                       Monday, November 16th, 2009 at approximately 2220 hrs.

 

LOCATION:             Webster Bank drive-up ATM located at 45 Waterbury Road in the Town of Prospect, Connecticut

 

SUSPECT:                Unknown White male, thin build, approximately 18-21 years of age, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, sneakers and a red bandana that covered the lower portion of his face.      

 

                       

On Monday, November 16th, 2009 at approximately 10:34 pm, Troop-I in Bethany received a 911 call reporting an armed robbery that occurred at the Webster Bank drive-up ATM located at 45 Waterbury Road in the Town of Prospect, Connecticut.

State Police responded  and learned that the victim reported driving up to the Webster Bank ATM at approximately 2220 hours / 10:20 pm when an unknown white male approached her brandishing a knife demanding money. After handing over money to the suspect, the suspect reportedly fled on foot in the direction of Route 69 / Waterbury Road.   There were not injuries. 

The suspect is a white male, thin build, approximately 18-21 year of age, last seen wearing a blue jeans, sneakers, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana that covered the lower portion of his face.
