State Reports Bridgeport Resident Positive for West Nile Virus
  The State Mosquito Management Program today announced that a resident of Bridgeport tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV) infection. This is the second Connecticut resident identified with WNV infection this season. A Sherman resident, reported previously, became ill during the third week of June.

State Reports Mosquitoes Positive for West Nile Virus in Four Towns
  The State Mosquito Management Program today announced that mosquitoes trapped July 31- August 4, 2008 in New Canaan, Shelton, Westport, and Wilton have tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV). These are the first WNV-positive mosquitoes identified in these four towns by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) this year.
