Lead Action for Medicaid Primary Prevention

The Connecticut Children's Medical Center LAMPP (Lead Action for Medicaid Primary Prevention) project is an early intervention and prevention program working to reduce lead hazards in homes in fourteen cities and towns in Connecticut. Our goal is to protect children before they get lead poisoned, intervene at lower blood lead levels, and prevent exposure to children who will move into the same housing in the future.

LAMPP assistance is available in the following communities:

  • Bridgeport

  • Danbury

  • East Haven

  • Enfield

  • Hartford

  • Manchester
