To protect and improve the health and safety of the people of Connecticut by:
The Healthy CT/Healthy DPH initiative is a result of Commissioner Galvin’s desire to create a healthy work environment, one that fosters positive attitudes and productive work among employees. The Healthy CT/Healthy DPH initiative was initially designed to address a number of concerns such as low morale, uneven productivity, inconsistent leadership, a lack of understanding of a commitment to the public health mission, and failure to view the agency’s rich diversity as an organizational asset.

Program Directory - The program directory provides descriptions of the myriad responsibilities and broad scope of programs that make up the Department of Public Health and allow the agency to fulfill its mission and provide service to the people of Connecticut. It also provides names and contact information for each program.
Administrative Report - The administrative report provides background and historical information about the Department of Public Health, amount of funding received by the department, and an overview of the various programs within the department.
