Welcome to the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Performance Measures page. The Connecticut Department of Transportation is committed to full transparency in its business of preserving, managing and developing the State’s transportation system. Our customers have a high expectation of us, and it is our desire to exceed these expectations. The establishment of goals, and the achievement of them, is a fundamental cornerstone of any successful business. Through the use of performance measures, the Department will provide the transparency and accountability that our customers expect.

A series of performance measure report sheets, which are accessible below, is our latest effort to focus on results and accountability. These performance sheets will be revised quarterly, and additional measures will be added in the future. The performance measures address five policy objectives, which are linked to our core mission:

The Performance Metrics Report below was the first published document to show that CTDOT is stepping forward to becoming a performance driven organization. The metrics identified in the report constitute the starting point for measuring and enhancing future performance.
