ConnDOT and the group have examined the project’s purpose and need; discussed safety and traffic issues; gained a better understanding of the community’s issues and concerns; reviewed previous design alternatives; and developed a new proposed design, Alternative 21. We believe the meetings have been very successful and that there is consensus among the stakeholders that new Alternative 21 is the new preferred design alternate.
