24-hour Work Scheduled for the The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that another round of 24-hour repairs on the Baldwin Bridge carrying I-95 over the Connecticut River will take place from Monday morning until Friday morning beginning Monday, October 19, 2009. On the northbound side of I-95, the two left lanes will be open to traffic during the 24-hour repairs to the bridge joints. Heavy delays during morning and afternoon commuter hours should be anticipated. The schedule of work is as follows: Northbound - Monday (10/19) beginning at 6 a.m. until Friday (10/23) at 6 a.m. Southbound – Work may occur week of 10/26/09, but schedule not confirmed.
