In accordance with The Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act of 2008, each State shall submit for review of the Secretary of USDOT a State-approved State Rail Plan that shall be revised and resubmitted no less frequently than once every five years for reapproval by the Secretary.  The State Rail Plan shall be coordinated with other State planning goals and programs, including the long-range transportation plan (LRP) and the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
