The Traffic Monitoring Town Index is the resource to view vehicle and classification volumes.

  • Based on a three year count cycle at point specific locations

  • Counts are taken on State and Local roads

  • Most Current ADT and hourly data is displayed by town

  • Historical ADT and vehicle volumes are linked to most current data

For traffic flow volumes based on segments of highway, the Traffic Log is the resource to use.

  • The Traffic Log is a book, approximately 260 pages, which lists the estimated ADT for segments of the highway where significant changes in traffic volumes occur

  • Only resource for expressway and interstate roadways

  • Listed in route number order from Route 001 - Route 921

  • Town lines shown for reference purposes

  • Published annually

From    = beginning alpha numeric description for the segment of roadway

 

Beg
Cum     = ending cumulative mileage point for segment of roadway
Miles

 

To        = ending alpha numeric description for the segment of roadway

 

End
Cum     = ending cumulative mileage point for segment of roadway
Miles

 

Sect
Length = length in miles of roadway for that particular segment (measured distance for section length)

 

YEAR
ADT     = Average daily traffic volume in both directions of travel for most current year specified

 

Note:      (OVLP = Overlap indicates ADT volumes shown on route being overlapped)
