                       Nighttime Resurfacing on Route 6 in Windham and Chapin         

 

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue on a 5.86-mile segment of Route 6 in Windham and Chaplin through the morning of Friday, September 22, 2017.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 6 from Tuckie Road in Windham to Phoenixville Road in Chaplin.  Three (2) State troopers and (1) traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  (Sunday through Friday)

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
