Milling and Resurfacing along Route 7 in Kent

 

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 7 in Kent beginning Monday, August 29, 2016.

 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.46 mile segment of Rt. 7 in Kent.  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, August 29, 2016 through Friday, September 9, 2016.

 

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 7 between the Kent/New Milford town line and Rt. 341.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)   

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
