Weekend closure of Route 130 (Fairfield Avenue) in Bridgeport Scheduled for November 6 to November 9, 2015 and November 13 to November 16, 2015

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 130 (Fairfield Avenue) from Commerce Drive to Railroad Avenue eastbound will be closed to traffic beginning 9 p.m. Friday and will reopen to traffic on Monday for the periods of November 6 to November 9, 2015 and November 13 to November 16, 2015, in the Town of Fairfield.

The work is part of a project to overhaul the overhead Catenary wire system and replace five bridges and the New Haven Rail Line between Bridgeport and Fairfield.  The weekend closures are required for the completion of the roadway lowering and paving operations on Fairfield Avenue.
