The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that construction activities related to construction of the new Southbound Q Bridge are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor the morning of Sunday, November 23, 2014. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.

Motorists traveling on I-95 or Forbes Avenue (Route 1) through New Haven should expect delays during the morning of Sunday, November 23, 2014 as a 10 minute stoppage of traffic in both directions will occur to facilitate activities related to the construction of the new Southbound Q-Bridge. CTDOT encourages safe driving throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor and asks motorists to follow posted speed limits to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow as construction continues.
