Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 220 (Elm Street) in Enfield
 
 
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 220 (Elm Street) between Margaret Street and the I-91 Northbound entrance ramp in Enfield.  This project is expected to occur Wednesday, August 17, 2011 to the morning of Friday, August 19, 2011.
 
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday - Thursday evenings).
 
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
