Nighttime Closure of Brewery Street On-ramp to Route 34 WB will occur Tuesday, August 3rd through Friday, August 6, 2010
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Brewery Street on-ramp to Route 34 WB will be closed, weeknights, Tuesday, August 3rd through Friday, August 6, 2010 between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM.
Traffic will be rerouted to Water Street and North Frontage Road.
All work will occur weather permitting and will be rescheduled if necessary.
The work in Contract E2 is part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing (NHHC) Corridor Improvement Program and includes the construction of a new ramp (Route 34 Flyover Bridge) from I-95 NB to Route 34 WB at Exit 47 in New Haven. The project also includes reconstruction of the Route 34 WB Bridge over Brewery Street, relocation of the Exit 46 ramps at Long Wharf and Sargent Drives and the construction of a second lane from I-91 SB to I-95 SB. The project is in advance of the construction of the new Pearl Harbor Memorial (Q) Bridge and the I-95/I-91/Route 34 Interchange.
