Whalley Avenue (Route 63) in the Vicinity of Route 69 to be Reduced to One Lane in Each Direction For Sewer Work Beginning Tuesday, December 15, 2009
 
 
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Whalley Avenue from Glenview Terrace to East Ramsdell Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 through Friday, December 18, 2009.
 
The contractor will be working in the middle of the road to work on an existing sewer and will require a lane in each direction to be closed continuously.
 
The work is part of DOT Project No. 0092-0547, for the reconstruction of Route 63 (Whalley Avenue). A contract was awarded to Complete Construction Company on June 2, 2009 at a cost of $9,316.671.00 and it is scheduled for completion by April 4, 2011
