NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that a Signal Replacement project will be performed on

Routes 6/44 at the intersections of (McKee St., Wadell St., Pine & Broad St. and Church St.) in Manchester.  This project is scheduled to take place on or about Saturday, November 1, 2008.

 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Saturday). 

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
