Daytime Water Shutoffs for Deerfield Road in Wilton Scheduled for

October 23, 2008.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut will be shutting off the water supply to residents on Deerfield Road, to complete work on the water main.  The shutoff will take place during the daytime on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, weather permitting.

Residents will be notified by Aquarion prior to the water service being shut off.  For more information, please contact Aquarion Water Company’s customer service at

203-445-7310.

The water shutoff is in association with the reconstruction project on Route 7 in Wilton that will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road.  The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.

Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
