ConnDOT: Bridge inspection - Route I-95 (northbound) between Exits 69 and 70 in Old Saybrook

NEWINGTON, Conn. -  State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that routine Bridge Safety Inspection work will be performed on I-95 (northbound) between Exits 69 and 70 between Old Saybrook and East Lyme over the Connecticut River (Baldwin Bridge). This project is scheduled to take place starting Monday September 8, 2008 through Friday September 12, 2008.

 

 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
