The Department of Transportation announced today upcoming lane closures on I-91NB in New Haven from December 3rd through December 14th.  These lane closures are required to ensure motorist safety and provide a safe work zone for workers drilling test borings for a subsurface exploration program.  Signs and traffic patterns will be in place to alert motorist of the lane closing.  The right lane will be periodically closed at various locations between interchange 7 and interchange 8.  The lane closures will take place between 9:00AM through 2:00PM on Monday through Thursdays, and between 9:00AM through 1:00PM on Fridays.
