NEWINGTON, Conn. - State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that Roadway Repairs will be performed on I-84 (eastbound & westbound) between Exits 21 and 25, in Waterbury. This project is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 & Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Tuesday & Wednesday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
