NEWINGTON, Conn. - State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-84 (eastbound) from Exit 40 to 46, in Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the project is 8:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. (Tuesday evening).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
