Cheshire and Southington, CT - The Department of Transportation announced today upcoming interstate lane closures on I-84 in Southington from November 12th through November 16th. These brief lane closures are required to ensure motorist safety during the repair of an existing drainage system.

This work is part of the widening and interchange improvement projects on I-84 in Southington and Cheshire.  When completed, the project will provide an additional lane in each direction between Exit 30 (Marion Avenue) in Southington and just east of Exit 27 (I-691 Interchange) in Southington.

Manafort Brothers, Inc. of Plainville, CT, will be performing this work.
