To Begin On or About Thursday, November 1, 2007

Wilton, Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that there will be a reduction in the number of available parking spaces at the Cannondale Railroad Station in the Town of Wilton.  The parking impacts will be required for construction of the Cannondale Railroad Station Restroom.

  • Beginning early Thursday Morning, November 1, 2007 through March 2008

There will be a reduction in the number of parking spaces available during construction of the project.  The Station will remain open at all times.  Both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.

Please allow for extra time to reach the train station and board your train.  The Connecticut Department of Transportation understands the inconvenience of these closures and will complete this work as quickly as possible.  Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

This work is part of an ongoing project to upgrade rail facilities on the New Haven Line.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation appreciates your patience as improvements and upgrades occur on the New Haven Rail Line.  These projects support the State’s continued effort to meet future needs on your public transportation system.
