State Department of Transportation Commissioner, Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that the project involving the rubbilization and paving of Route 2 between exit 12 and exit 16 in the Colchester and Marlborough is continuing work in both the Eastbound and Westbound lanes this fall.
Between October 12, 2007 and November 30, 2007 the existing number of highway travel lanes will remain open at the following times:
| Route 2 Eastbound: |
Monday - Friday, between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm |

| Route 2 Westbound: |
Monday - Thursday, between 6:00 am - 10:00 am Friday, between 6:00 am and 10:00 am as well as 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm |

| Entrance and Exit Ramps: |
Monday - Friday, between 6:00 am and 9:00 am as well as 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm |
Periodic lane closures can be anticipated at other times. Short term, individual ramp closures may be made by special announcement.
Manafort Brothers, Inc of Plainville Connecticut, is constructing this $22.5 million project under contract with the Department of Transportation.
