Painting of Pedestrian Bridge over I-691

Meriden, CT

 

Meriden, CT-   The Department of Transportation announced today that beginning on Monday, September 10, 2007 extended lane closures are necessary for the painting of a pedestrian bridge spanning I- 691. The work is expected to be completed by October 15, 2007.   Abhe and Svoboda, Inc of Prior Lake, Minnesota will be performing this work. 

 

 

Traffic Operations

 

I-691 eastbound and westbound

Monday through Sunday

In and around Exit 4 (I691 and Rt. 322) may be reduced to one lane between the hours of 7:00 pm to 6:00 am

 

 

Construction signs and State Police will be utilized for traffic control.

 

 

Motorists should use caution through the work zones and reduce their speed accordingly.
