Route 83 in Somers
Closed for Construction
Beginning August 10, 2007, Route 83 in the vicinity of Parker Road in Somers will be closed to through traffic for three days for construction required for the realignment of Route 83.
A detour will be in effect re-routing traffic via Billings Road and Field Road. Detour signs will be installed to guide motorists. The work is scheduled to be completed and the road reopened late Sunday, August 12, 2007.
