New Section of the Exit 50 On-ramp to I-95
Southbound in New Haven Scheduled to
Open on August 2, 2007
 
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) is announcing that a new section of the Exit 50 on-ramp to I-95 Southbound from Stiles Street and Fulton Terrace in New Haven is scheduled to open on Thursday, August 2, 2007.

In addition, the existing Exit 49 on-ramp from Stiles Street will be permanently closed to traffic on Monday, August 13, 2007.

The work is part of Contract C2 of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing Corridor Improvement Program.  Contract C2 is located in New Haven and consists of the reconstruction of approximately one mile of I-95 just east of Stiles Street in New Haven to the New Haven/East Haven town line. Construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2009.
