SOMERS, CONNECTICUT
Route 83
The Department of Transportation announced today that beginning August 1, 2007, a temporary traffic signal will be operational just north of Parker Road on Route 83 in Somers.
An alternating one way traffic system will be in effect. Temporary concrete barrier Curb will be used to safely channel traffic through the work area. The project, which involves installation of a new drainage culvert under Route 83, will be completed in two stages and is scheduled to be completed by October, 2007.
