NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Cable Installation project will be performed on I-95 (northbound) at Exit 72 and on I-95 (southbound) at Exit 75, in East Lyme. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Friday, July 20, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Friday morning)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
