Reconstruction and Widening of Route 7

New Milford, CT- The Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, beginning Monday, July 9, 2007, Sullivan Road in New Milford, from the Route 7 intersection to the intersection of Old Town Park Road, will be closed around the clock (24 hours a day) to allow for sewer installation, drainage, and roadway construction. Anticipated completion is Sunday, July 22, 2007 with Sullivan Road reopening the day after on Monday, July 23, 2007. Motorists should follow the signed detour route.

Also, beginning Monday, July 16, 2007, Route 7 traffic from north of Cross Road to Larson Road will shift west for stage construction. Traffic will be in this configuration until October of 2007.
