DOT Announces Nighttime Ramp Closure on Route 15 Exit 34, Route 104 Long Ridge Road in Stamford Scheduled for Monday, July 9, 2007
Stamford, CT —The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that the Route 15 northbound on ramp from Route 104, Long Ridge Road north will be closed to traffic between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 and Tuesday, July 10 if necessary.
The closure is necessary for the installation of an eighteen inch (18") drainage line across the on ramp and is part of a 4.9 million dollar contract between ConnDOT and the Dayton Construction Company, Inc. of Watertown, CT.
The Route 104 south ramp to Route 15 northbound that is located in the same vicinity will remain open.
Construction signs and trafficpersons will be utilized to assist motorists during the nighttime hours.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the construction work zone and should allow extra travel time. Please travel at the posted speed limit to ensure the safety of both motorist and work zone personnel.
