NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Traffic Loop Installation project will be performed on I-95 (northbound & southbound) between Exits 59 and 60, in Madison. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Tuesday, June 26, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Tuesday evening).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
