NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Sidewalk Installation and Roadway Improvement project will be performed at the Intersection of Route 151 (Town Street) & 149 (Falls Road), in East Haddam. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Friday, June 22, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
