Town of Windsor and the City of Hartford, Connecticut
Safety Improvements on I-91
Hartford, CT- The Department of Transportation announced today, weather permitting, Wednesday, June 20, 2007, the entrance to I-91 SB from Route 159 (Windsor Road) will be closed to traffic from 10:00 pm through 6:00 am Thursday, June 21st. This closure will facilitate the on going safety improvements associated with this ramp. Tilcon Connecticut, of North Branford, will be performing this work.
Traffic Detour
Motorists are asked to use the entrance ramp to I-91 NB. Take I-91 NB to Exit 35B. Take Exit 35B to access I-91 SB.
Detour will be posted with construction signs. In addition, Local and State Police will be utilized for traffic control.
Motorists are urged to use caution through the work zones and should reduce their speed accordingly.
