NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpeter announced today that a Highway Lighting Repair project will be performed on I-84 (eastbound & westbound) between Exits 45 (Flatbush Avenue) and 52 (I-91 southbound), in Hartford. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Sunday, June 3, 2007 & Sunday, June 10, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Sundays).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
