Project 161-118, 161-124 Route 7, Wilton Revision to Hours of Work For Nighttime Lane Closures
Wilton, Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that there are time changes for nighttime lane closures on the Route 7 project in Wilton. Construction work requiring lane closures will be allowed during the following hours:
Danbury Road (US 7, 7/33/106)
Monday thru Thursday 8:00pm to 6:00am
Friday 8:00pm to 6:00am, as needed (make-up day in the event of inclement weather Monday thru Thursday)
Saturday and Sunday No change (still 8:00pm to 8:00am)
The work is part of the overall project to widen Route 7 in Wilton that will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
