Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 01979 over East Meadow Brook
Woodbury, CT- The Department of Transportation announced today, weather permitting, Route 6 (Main Street) over East Meadow Brook will be alternating one-way traffic starting on Monday, April 30, 2007. These operations are required for the replacement of the Bridge No. 01979 over East Meadow Brook. Blakeslee Arpaia Chapman, Inc. of Branford, CT will be performing this work.
Traffic Operations
Alternating one-way traffic will be in effect around the clock from April 30th through the end of October 2007. Expect delays at all times.
Motorists should use caution through the work zone and reduce their speed accordingly.
Temporary traffic signals, changeable message sign, and construction signs will be utilized for traffic control.
Anticipated contract completion is scheduled for October 2007.
